Team King's Pride Event 3: Doctor's Orders

I do not pretend to be a writer, but this event isn't quite eventful enough for a comic. Please enjoy the series of images I'll be posting as they are much more detailed than my usual comic work.

It had been over a week since Sirene’s parents had gone home. Over a week since the snow began to fall. Her father, Dash, had insisted on staying to make sure they’d be all right with the drastic change in weather, but Sirene insisted they get home to check on the crops. They had no idea how far the snow was reaching, so her parents agreed to return.
But now Sirene was wishing they were still around.

“Lear, how do you think our friends are doing?” the Eevee asked suddenly. “We haven’t heard from anyone in a couple of days.”

The small, spotless Nidoran stopped a moment. “I dunno… we should probably check on them, but…” his words trailed off.

Sirene smiled knowingly and leaned down beside him. “Get on!”

Lear blushed slightly at her invitation saying, “Sirene, you really don’t have to do that.”

“Lear, we both know you don’t like walking in the snow, so get on.”

He reluctantly climbed onto her back, knowing that once she had her mind set on something, there was no changing it. It felt awkward as Sirene walked towards the village for Lear had no real way of clinging to his childhood friend. He didn’t want to hurt her with his claws, but he feared falling off her back. Luckily, Sirene could walk steadily while carrying him, keeping him perfectly balanced. He was grateful for that physical strength.

In Tao Village, there were few Pokemon wandering about, except for a large group in front of the medical tent. Sirene bounded off to see what was going on while Lear desperately clung to her sides.
